The Gothic Ice Queen Crown
This handmade tatted lace crown was inspired by an antique edging pattern from 1921. I added some multi coloured beads for a discrete dazzle, and made minor changes to give the crown a more pointy design than the original pattern had.
I tatted the crown in a metallic grey thread holding the shape very well, and I attached it to a bangle with crochet to give the crown a base.
The headdress has a 6 centimeters diameter and the points are 5 centimeters measured from the base.
I have been tatting for 35 years and all my pieces are high quality and made with patience and attention to detail. If you like this headdress in a different colour, contact me as I do accept commissions.
